Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Purpose
The purpose of the present terms of sale is to define the contractual relationship between Christine’s and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the christine’s website, www.christines-store.com. The acquisition of a product through the present site implies the buyer’s unreserved acceptance of the present terms of sale, which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering. Prior to any transaction, the buyer declares that the purchase of products on the christine’s website, www.christines-store.com, is not directly related to his/her professional activity and is limited to strictly personal use, and that he/she has full legal capacity, allowing him/her to commit to the present general terms of sale.
Christine’s reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time, in order to comply with any new regulation or in order to improve the use of its site. Therefore, the applicable conditions will be those in effect at the date of the order by the buyer.
2. Products
The products offered are those shown on the Christine’s website, www.christines-store.com, while stocks last. Christine’s reserves the right to modify the range of products at any time. Each product is presented on the website in the form of a description of its main technical characteristics (capacity, use, composition, etc.). The photographs are as accurate as possible but do not commit the Seller. The sale of the products presented on the Christine’s website is intended for all buyers residing in countries that fully authorize the entry of these products into their territory.
3. Prices
The prices appearing on the product sheets of the Internet catalog are prices in Euros (€). VAT is not applicable according to article 293 B of the CGI.
Christine’s reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood, however, that the price appearing in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated do not include delivery costs, which are invoiced in addition to the price of the products purchased, depending on the total amount of the order.
4. Orders and terms of payment
4.1 The buyer places his order according to the process in force on the site and confirms the summary of it. The buyer is required to provide all mandatory fields: title, surname, first name, address, access code, floor, building number and other necessary information including a telephone number where the buyer can be reached during the day. In this respect, the buyer is obliged to provide truthful information.
4.2 Secure payment by Paypal / credit card (via the Paypal service) or bank transfer:
The order will be the subject of a summary called My Cart, which can be consulted at any time and will include all the elements of the order and will indicate the total amount including shipping costs depending on the delivery method chosen. The buyer will be able to return to his order, complete it, modify it or cancel it as long as he has not validated it. The buyer will validate this order by clicking on “Pay with PayPal” or “Bank transfer”.
Christine’s offers the buyer the option of ordering and paying for products by Paypal as proposed on the online store or by bank transfer. In the latter case, the order will only be shipped after the bank transfer has been received.
Finally, the buyer is redirected to the secure PAYPAL interface if he/she has decided to use this type of payment in order to safely enter his/her Paypal account or personal credit card information. If the payment is accepted, the order is recorded and the contract is definitively formed. The payment by Paypal account or by credit card is irrevocable. In case of fraudulent use of the card, the buyer can demand the cancellation of the payment by card, the sums paid will then be credited or returned. The responsibility of the bank card holder is not engaged if the disputed payment has been proven to have been made fraudulently, at a distance, without physical use of the card. To obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that the transaction may have generated, the cardholder must dispute the debit in writing with his or her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or even 120 days if the contract binding him or her to the bank so provides. The amounts debited will be reimbursed by the bank within a maximum of one month after receipt of the Cardholder’s written objection. The holder will not be charged for the return of the sums.
The confirmation of an order implies acceptance of these terms of sale, the recognition of having perfect knowledge of them and the waiver of its own conditions of purchase. All the data provided and the recorded confirmation will be worth proof of the transaction. If the buyer has an e-mail address and if he/she has given it on the order form, Christine’s will send him/her an e-mail confirming the registration of his/her order.
NB: Sales are neither returned nor exchanged.

5. Reservation of ownership
Christine’s retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the price, in principal, fees and taxes included.
6. Withdrawal
In accordance with article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of fourteen (14) working days from the delivery of their order to exercise their right of retraction and thus return the product to the seller for exchange or reimbursement without penalty, with the exception of the return costs.
The returned product must be in its original condition and packaging. It must not have been used, nor have suffered any deterioration, however slight, and be in a state of perfect cleanliness.
7. Delivery
Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form which can only be in the agreed geographical area. The orders are made by La Poste via, Courrier Suivi, COLISSIMO, by Express DHL, Fedex, UPS48h or Chrono Relais according to the delivery method selected by the customer. Delivery times are given as an indication only; if they exceed thirty days from the order, the sales contract may be terminated and the buyer reimbursed. Christine’s may provide the buyer with a tracking number by e-mail. The buyer will be delivered to his/her home by his/her letter carrier. In case of absence, the buyer will receive a notice of passage from the letter carrier, which will allow him to withdraw the ordered products at the nearest post office or at a relay point, during a period indicated by the postal services. The risks associated with transport are borne by the purchaser from the moment the items leave Christine’s premises. The purchaser is required to check the condition of the packaging and the contents of the goods on delivery in the presence of the employee of La Poste or the delivery person. In case of damage during transport, any protest must be made to the carrier within three (3) days of delivery.
8. Guarantee
All products supplied by Christine’s benefit from the legal guarantee provided by articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code. In case of non-conformity of a product sold, it can be returned to Christine’s who will take it back, exchange it or refund it. All claims, requests for exchange or refund must be made in writing to Christine’s within three (3) days of delivery.
The customer must keep the packaging and the delivery note. In the event of a product error, the customer agrees to return the product(s) in question within fourteen (14) days of receipt to Christine’s provided that the product(s) is (are) returned unworn and in its (their) original condition and packaging with all accompanying documentation.
9. Responsibility
Christine’s, in the process of distance selling, is only bound by an obligation of means. It cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, break in service, or other involuntary problems.
10. Intellectual property
All elements of the Christine’s website, www.christines-store.com are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Christine’s. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, or use for any purpose whatsoever, even partially, elements of the site whether in the form of a photo, logo, visual or text.
11. Personal data
Christine’s is committed to preserving the confidentiality of the information provided by the purchaser, which he/she may be required to transmit for the use of certain services. All information concerning the purchaser is subject to the provisions of law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978. 12. Settlement of disputes
The present general conditions of remote sale are subjected to the French law. For all disputes or litigation, it will be submitted to the competent French court.
